Fracture Fixation

Any break in the bone is called a fracture. The treatment varies with the bone involved and patient profile. Bones are surrounded by muscles, blood vessels and nerves. They may get additionally injured when fractures occur.

Common methods of treating fracture are Plaster Cast application, External Fixation, Closed Reduction & Open Reduction and Internal Fixation. Each method has different Rehabilitation Programmes.
